Faced with the engineering challenges of ultra-high water head, ultra-large capacity, ultra-deep burial depth and ultra-long shaft system of the pumped storage main powerhouse, Weihua’s dual machines were linked and lifted in parallel to complete the hoisting operation accurately and stably throughout the process. It has successfully completed the overall hoisting of the 516-ton rotor. The core technical advantages of this type of product are:

Weihua ultra-high lift shaft special crane

The special shaft gantry crane is the core equipment for the construction of deep shafts in pumped storage power stations, and is responsible for key tasks such as shaft excavation, steel pipe lifting, equipment transportation, and safe personnel lifting.

This equipment pioneered the “double parallel folding drum + traction type constant deflection angle arrangement” technology, successfully breaking through the technical bottleneck of multi-layer orderly winding of steel wire ropes at an ultra-deep lift of 650 meters; deeply integrating 5G communications, UWB positioning and AI technology to achieve centimeter-level positioning and intelligent collaborative control of underground dynamics; for dual working conditions of people and cargo, innovatively designed “three-level braking + dual rope redundancy” multiple safety protection systems and cage life support devices, with safety standards reaching elevator level.

In the Zhejiang Songyang pumped storage power station project, Henan Weihua customized the world’s first set of intelligent special equipment for hoisting and transportation of a 700-meter ultra-deep shaft, covering the entire shaft construction process. It has played an irreplaceable role in key links such as excavation and slag removal from the main shaft of the upper pressure regulating shaft, installation and dismantling of the complete machine in the shaft tunnel boring machine, accurate hoisting of pressure steel pipes and fully automatic detachment of deep shafts, and efficient and safe transportation of construction personnel in the shaft.
