    • Insert the correct grade and size pin through the clevis and hook bail.

    • Secure the pin using the specified method (P.EJ., cotter pin, lock nut). Ensure the pin is fully seated and the securing device is properly engaged.

• 6. Final Inspection:

  • Double-check the hook orientation (point outward!).

  • Verify the saddle is seated flat and securely.

  • Confirm the safety latch (Si está presente) operates correctly and fully closes.

  • Ensure all securing devices (nuts, pins, cotters) are properly installed and tight.
